It was a hot and dizzyingly humid day and the City of Angeles was anxiously a buzz of an impending storm. Where a barrage of ground shaking strikes and an onslaught of bone cracking submissions are expected to be unleashed by the warriors participating at Southeast Asia Fighting Championship’s SAFC 60: Warriors Championship!

The fastest growing and largest MMA promotion in terms of its fight frequency, the Southeast Asia Fighting Championship, made Venus Hotel and Sports Club its home and destiny was realized. Working together as a family, the partnership, between the Godfather of SAFC and owner of Venus Hotel and Sports Club, Chairman Kwang Rae Jo and the NMKBCP President and founder of the SAFC, Master Emmanuel Sabrine, gave Filipino and foreign mixed martial artists a venue to display and showcase their skills, as they all hone and test themselves against some of the best MMA fighters.

Last Saturday night March 25, 2017, culminating an almost 2 year run, with a weekly 3day fight nights, SAFC 60: Warriors Championship was held at Venus Arena, Venus Hotel and Sports Club, Teodoro Street, Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippine. The night saw 4 undercard bouts and 6 main event championship bouts. 

Here are the official fight results of the SAFC 60: Warriors Championship;
For the undercards:

Competing in the 1st bout are Maico Fernandez vs Aalejo Corpus and winning this bout is Maico Fernandez by Submission via Guillotine Choke at the 4minute 51second mark of the 1st round.
Competing in the 2nd bout are Dennis Salazar vs Mj Abrillo and winning this bout is Mj Abrillo by a Split Decision.

Competing in the 3rd bout are Benjie Tabaranza vs Michael Escobia and winning this bout is Michael Escobia by TKO via Punches at the 2minute 56second mark of the 1st round.
Competing in the 4th bout are Joemar Baying vs Genil Francisco and winning this bout is Genil Francisco by Submission via Rear Naked Choke at the 3minute 23second mark of the 2nd round.

For the main events:
Competing in the 5th bout are Reynold Vargas vs Adrian Francisco and winning this bout is Adrian Francisco by Submission via Armbar at the 2minute 20second mark of the 1st round.
Competing in the 6th bout are Ariel Oliveros vs Junie Kimayong and winning this bout is Junie Kimayong by Unanimous Decision.

Competing in the 7th bout are Mark Gregory Valerio vs Roel Rio and winning this bout is Roel Rio by TKO via Ground N Pound at the 2minute 30second mark of the 4th round.
Competing in the 8th bout are Rufino Mante vs Jhunior Diapolet and winning this bout is Rufino Mante by TKO via Punches at the 53second mark of the 1st round.



Competing in the 9th bout are Benedict Venus vs Tom Gregory Iraola and winning this bout is Tom Gregory Iraola by Submission via Armbar at the 4minute 11second mark of the 1st round.

Competing in the 10th bout are Jonathan Ring vs Jaypee Espinosa and winning this bout is Jonathan Ring by TKO via headkick 47second mark of the 1st round.

The NMKBCP and SAFC, together with all the participants and supporters express our deep respect and sincere gratitude to the Godfather of SAFC and the owner of Venus Hotel and Sports Club, Chairman Kwang Rae Jo.

Continue following and supporting the Southeast Asia Fighting Championship as we strive to provide our home grown MMA fighters the opportunity to step inside the cage and compete against best of the country’s and even some foreign fighters. SAFC will be back after a short hiatus to once again bring to you all an electrifying, high energy, action packed, fast and hard hitting, MMA fights.
